date of birth, age: March 15, 1967/44
Occupation: Journalism teacher, faculty sponsor for school newspaper and co sponsor for the yearbook and drama club. Assistant to visiting drama teacher.
Family & general information: His parents were Royston Kendrick Boothe III & Carol Elizabeth Boothe (nee` Campbell), one older sister and two younger brothers. He was the first born son, and much was expected of him as he was growing up. He was actually born in Aberdeen, Scotland though his family emigrated when he was still in nappies so he has no real memory of it. It was always hoped that he would eventually go back home to help his grandparents and uncles with the family business, but he had no aptitude for business. His talents lay in the realm of words, and from almost as soon as he could write Ken was writing about the world he saw. HE has kept a journal for as long as he can remember, and currently still keeps a hand written one along side his electronic one.
He came out to his parents when he was twenty, which was during the early days of the AIDS pandemic. His parents were naturally worried about him, but they always supported him. The rest of his extended family is also quite accepting of his homosexuality with the exception of his cousin Angus back in Aberdeen. But then again, Angus always was a bit of an odd one or so his grandmother says. He does go back to Aberdeen at least once every other year now that he can better afford it.
Personality: He is a firm believer that there is a time and place for everything under Heaven, and as such he is not afraid to let loose and just have some fun when the moment calls for it. But he is all business when he's in his office, or the classroom. He laughs easily, and he cries just as easily though he is much better at hiding his tears.
Strengths: generous (with his time, his money and himself), funny, protective of those he cares about. still believes in the fairy tale despite everything.
Weaknesses: can be a bit flighty, is forgetful at times, sometimes catty, can be over protective at times.
Relationships/Love Life: He has had a few serious relationships in his day, one was even with a woman. His first love in fact was a woman, though they never were intimate. They are friends to this day and he says he'd marry her if she were a man. (She usually follows that up with "AS IF I'd ever marry YOU!" and they both giggle) His most recent serious relationship ended about ten years ago after seven years together. It took him a while to get back out there after that, but once he was able to get over it he was back to his usual romantic self. This is not to say he's not above having a casual fling, and he has had many during his lifetime.
